Sing For Joy
'Sing for Joy' are singing sessions for ages 60 plus. The sessions provide participants with a chance to sing old favourite songs and are a great opportunity to have fun and socialise, whilst improving breathing, posture and coordination.
The sessions are run by Davina, a conservatoire trained musician with experience in Alzheimer's and mature voices. Davina is a Birmingham based musician specialising in voice. Her work includes solo and choral singing, vocal coaching, teaching singing and early years music, songwriting and community music projects.
The Day Centre runs a range of regular activities from exercise to music to enrich the care we provide. We regularly review the outcome of all activities and actively look for innovative new activities to try.
